About Shaka Social

Shaka Social is a data-driven social content agency where creativity meets performance. We blend high-impact content with organic & paid media strategies to help brands grow in ways that are measurable, meaningful and culturally relevant.

We work across a diverse mix of industries, from architecture and jewellery to premium spirits and technology, always with the same mindset: strong ideas backed by data, delivered properly.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Paid Media Executive to support the planning, execution and optimisation of paid social campaigns across our client portfolio.

Role Overview

This role sits within our performance team, working closely with the Head of Paid Media, paid media manager, and across the wider team.

You’ll be hands-on in campaign setup, optimisation and reporting across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and LinkedIn, while developing a deeper understanding of how paid media supports broader commercial and brand objectives.

This is a growth role, ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of paid social experience who wants to sharpen their performance skills inside a fast-paced agency environment.

You’ll need to be analytical, detail-oriented, commercially aware and proactive. We care about performance, and we expect the same from you.

If you’re excited by testing, scaling, data analysis and creative performance, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Support the setup, management and optimisation of paid social campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn.

  • Assist in audience building, budget allocation and campaign structuring.

  • Monitor performance daily and make data-led optimisation decisions.

  • Support testing strategies across creative, copy, placements and targeting.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brief and within budget.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and analyse key performance metrics.

  • Build and update reporting dashboards.

  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting with clear commentary and insights.

  • Identify optimisation opportunities and performance trends.

  • Collaborate with content and strategy teams to feed insights back into creative direction.

Budget & Commercial Awareness

  • Assist in monitoring budget pacing and spend accuracy.

  • Support forecasting and spend projections.

  • Flag underperformance or overspend risks early.

  • Maintain accurate internal documentation and tracking systems.

Experience & Skills Required

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in paid media (agency or in-house).

  • Experience managing campaigns within Meta Ads Manager and Google.

  • Exposure to TikTok Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads is preferred.

  • Experience working with performance KPIs and conversion-focused campaigns.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of paid media fundamentals (funnels, targeting, creative testing, tracking).

  • Familiarity with pixels, tracking and attribution basics.

  • Comfortable working with data and reporting dashboards.

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Monday and Slack preferred).

Personal Attributes

  • Highly analytical and detail-focused.

  • Commercially minded with a performance-first mentality.

  • Proactive and eager to learn.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.

Mentorship: Direct support from senior paid media leadership.

Flexible Working: Hybrid structure with remote options.

28 days annual leave: Plus all bank holidays.
