About Shaka Social

Shaka Social is a data-driven social content agency where creativity meets performance. We blend high-impact content with organic & paid media strategies to help brands grow in ways that are measurable, meaningful and culturally relevant.

We work across a diverse mix of industries, from architecture and jewellery to premium spirits and technology, always with the same mindset: strong ideas backed by data, delivered properly.

We’re now looking for an organised, proactive Account Manager (or ambitious Account Executive ready to step up) to help drive client relationships and ensure projects are delivered seamlessly across organic, paid social and content production.

Role Overview

This role sits at the centre of client relationships and internal delivery.

You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day communication with clients, coordinating internal teams, managing client deliverables, keeping projects on track, and ensuring work aligns with strategy and performance goals. You’ll need to be confident, detail-driven, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

If you’re someone who thrives on organisation, clarity, and building strong relationships, while still understanding creative and performance marketing, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients.

  • Manage day-to-day communication, building strong and trusted relationships.

  • Lead client calls, prepare agendas, manage strategies and circulate clear follow-ups.

  • Ensure client expectations are managed and aligned with agreed deliverables.

  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional services or improved strategy.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Own timelines, deadlines and internal coordination across organic and paid campaigns.

  • Brief internal teams clearly and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.

  • Track progress across content calendars, paid campaigns and production schedules.

  • Ensure work is delivered on time, on brief, and on budget.

  • Maintain internal organisation systems (Monday, shared drives, etc.).

Strategy & Performance Alignment

  • Understand each client’s commercial goals and ensure work ladders up to them.

  • Support reporting processes across organic, paid social and content production.

  • Analyse performance data and collaborate with strategists to identify optimisation opportunities.

  • Contribute to strategy discussions with clear insight into account performance and client objectives.

Commercial Awareness

  • Monitor account profitability and scope control.

  • Support renewals and contract extensions.

  • Flag potential scope creep early and manage it professionally.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, strategies or upsell recommendations where relevant.

Experience & Skills Required

Experience

  • 2+ years in an agency environment (Account Executive or Account Manager level).

  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of social media marketing (organic, paid and content).

  • Comfortable presenting to clients and leading calls.

Technical Understanding

  • Solid knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Understanding of paid social fundamentals.

  • Comfortable working with reporting dashboards and interpreting data.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Monday and Slack preferred).

Personal Attributes

  • Exceptionally organised and detail-focused.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident but calm under pressure.

  • Commercially aware and solution-oriented.

  • Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Team-first mindset.

Benefits

  • Be a key player: Crucial role within a fast-growing agency.

  • Flexible Working: Hybrid structure with remote options.

  • Birthday Leave: An additional day off for your birthday.

  • Team Culture: Regular team events and socials.

  • Creative Environment: Work alongside strategists, editors and creatives in a collaborative setting.
